Help us to raise funds by being creative. Design
our Christmas Cards!
1. Subject of the Christmas Cards:
We are looking for funky and fresh Christmas designs that reflect our aim
and conveys our message effectively by incorporating our logo HIDO and / or
slogan “Humanitarian Design for people in need”.
2. Technical Details:
The designs, 110mm x 150mm (double, horizontal or vertical), will be printed
on the front of these double cards. The design must be in one colour of your
choice and will be printed on white paper.
3. Rules:
All your work must be free of copyright and therefore may not include any
copyrighted materials except for our logo. (which can be downloaded from our
site) Your submission must be an original design by you and no one else. You
may enter as many concepts and designs as you want.
Each entry must be accompanied with a your first and last name, nationality, profession, mailing address, valid email address. This is in case we need to contact you. Your information, other than your name will not be shared or sold. Your name will be used to identify your entry. When sending the email to contest@humanidesign.org, please mention Subject: HIDO Christmas cards 2007 , Fist Name, Last Name, Nationality, Profession, Mailing Address and Email address stating that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions.
By
entering your design into this contest you agree to these rules and give HIDO
the permission to print your designs. You also agree that it is okay to publish
your design on our website and in any other conference related materials should
we decide to display it. You also understand that you will receive no royalties
for the reproduction of your artwork/design. The chosen entry(ies) which will
be continued developing will receive a free T-shirt in their desired size
as well as some of HIDO’s Christmas cards.
4. Submitting:
Designs, in one colour only, should initially be submitted as low resolution
JPG, GIF (72dpi), the winning design can be sent as an EPS or high resolution
JPG file (at least 300dpi). If there is no high resolution than we can not
print your design.
Designs need to be send to contest@humanidesign.org
We will mention the name of the designer on the card!!

Registration deadline:
Entries may be entered no later than Monday
October 8th 2007 by midnight. Any entries received after this
date will not qualify.
The winners will be announced on our website
Monday the 29th of October 2007.
