1. Subject of T-shirt competition:
We are looking for a funky and fresh design that reflects our aim and conveys
our message effectively by incorporating our logo HIDO and slogan “Humanitarian
Design for people in need”.
2. Technical Details:
The designs, max A4 size (210mm x 297mm), will be printed on the front of
white t-shirts (round neck). The design must be in one colour of your choice
and may be printed on coloured background T-shirts.

Rules:
All your work must be free of copyright and therefore may not include any
copyrighted materials except for our logo. (which can be downloaded from our
site) Your submission must be an original design by you and no one else.
You may enter as many designs as you want.
Each entry must be accompanied with a your first and last name, mailing address,
and valid email address. This is in case we need to contact you. Your information,
other than your name will not be shared or sold. Your name will be used to
identify your entry. When sending the email to contest@humanidesign.org,
please mention Subject: HIDO T-Shirt contest, Fist Name, Last Name, Mailing
Address and Email address stating that you have read and accepted the terms
and conditions.
By entering your design into this contest you agree to these rules and give
HIDO the permission to print your design on the T-Shirt. You also agree that
it is okay to publish your design on our website and in any other conference
related materials should we decide to display it. You also understand that
you will receive no royalties for the reproduction of your artwork/design.Winner
will receive a free T-shirt in their desired size.
One design will be chosen and 100 printed which will be sold on the website
to raise money for our projects for people in need. Don’t forget that
our staff has no salary and that the raised money will go integral to our
projects in Third World countries.
4. Submitting:
Designs should initially be submitted as low resolution JPG, GIF (72dpi),
image size max 600pixels by 850pixels, the winning design can be sent as an
EPS or high resolution JPG file (at least 300dpi). If there is no high resolution
than we can not print your design.

5. Registration deadline:
Entries may be entered no later than Monday January 15th 2007 by midnight.
Any entries received after this date will not qualify.
The winner will be announced on our website Monday the 29th of January 2007.
